Glen DavisIt has been a tale of two teams in this year’s NBA Finals, both completely different, even though they have always worn green. The Boston Celtics looked absolutely awful in their opening loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, but bounced back in Game Two with a superb effort to earn the important online sports betting road split. The same would happen in the first two games played at the Banknorth Gardens, as after looking like a shadow of itself in Game Three, the Celtics bounce back with a crucial performance in Game Four to even the series with a 96-89 win.

Paul Pierce scored 19 for Boston, who came alive behind an incredible performance by their bench, as the Celtics’ reserves outscored the Lakers’ bench 36-18. Forward Glen Davis played a huge part in the win, scoring nine of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. Nate Robinson backed up Davis’ effort with 12 points of his own, while the rest of the Celtics’ big four, including Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Kevin Garnett each registered double digit point totals.

Kobe Bryant, Northbet MVP Pick, scored a game-high 33 in the loss, while Pau Gasol contributed 21. The defeat prevented the Lakers from taking a commanding three-games-to-one series lead, with two of the remaining three NBA Finals betting games to be played at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
